Jessica Tackett

Fine Artist. Art Educator. Storyteller.

My paintings don't just hang on walls — they ask questions. Through Echoes of Olja, I explore identity, memory, and belonging as a Russian adoptee, using surreal landscapes and layered symbolism to turn personal history into visual autobiography.

In the studio and the classroom, I create space for the same thing: authentic expression. I teach artists to find their voice, build confidence, and develop the skills that build real careers — because creativity isn't just a passion, it's a path.

Art is transformation. It's connection. It's the story only you can tell — and I'm here to help you tell it.

Collaborations & Commissions

I believe art grows through connection. Whether collaborating with fellow artists, supporting emerging creatives and students, or creating a meaningful commissioned piece, I value every opportunity to be part of a larger creative community. I welcome thoughtful collaborations, commissions, and creative inquiries that bring people, stories, and ideas together through art.

“What is done in love is done well.”
Vincent van Gogh

Echoes of Olja is my love letter to becoming—to the people who nurtured me, the memories that shaped me, and the little girl whose echoes continue to bloom through every piece I create.
